The other greatest TV mini-series of all time. Actually, maybe this one's a little better. I can't make up my mind. I've seen almost everything by Dennis Potter. Also check out PENNIES FROM HEAVEN, and LIPSTICK ON MY COLLAR if you can find it. John Amiel went on to direct two terrific, fun movies ­ COPYCAT and THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO LITTLE.
