My New Most Favorite Movie Ever of All-Time

These motherfuckers are reinventing the action genre just like the Wachowskis did with The Matrix ten years ago.

Thanks to Kurly Tlapoyawa for this fine cinematic treat (and sorry I forgot to credit him yesterday).

I started my training under Carlos Machado in Dallas, TX about 11 years ago, before I moved to Ft. Worth and then back home to Albuquerque (I now train at Gracie Barra NM. At any rate, The bad Boys of Brazil is a severely underrated achievement in indie cinema! FYI, I starred in / stunt coordinated a movie called “The Stink Of Flesh” a few years back. The movie features several MMA/BJJ versus Zombie battles. If you dug Bad Boys of Brazil, you should give it a try.

Actually, after this post I decided to look up Bad Boys from Brazil and it’s under different titles. Sometimes Brazilian Brawl and sometimes Bad Boyz (with a Z) from Brazil. You might actually get a kick out of this. It stars the Machado Brothers and that dude Geoffrey Lewis who’s played characters in just about every movie ever made. It’s no classic like Captain Alex, but you’ll get the point.

That’s fucking awesome. Some friends of mine who have jujitsu studios all over LA gathered their finances and made a flick called The Bad Boys of Brazil, but they got shit on these dudes.

God I hope this is the beginning of the Central African movie industry. That was fucking awsome, James, a bunch of guys who got together and made a movie. The best thing was that everyone was into their parts too.

Bonus points for making Michael Bay look like an even bigger loser.
