Happy Halloween and Weird Pics!
Well, it's time to say hello, Halloween, and good-bye, October! Due to Humanzee!, making Digg's front page, and my museum blogs, this has been the biggest month ever in the history of JamesGunn.com. So thank you all for your help in reposting, retweeting, etc, etc.
Starting this last week I am in full-fledged pre-production on SUPER. My blogs may not be as detailed as they've been of late, but I'll try and keep you guys informed of the step by step process of making a movie. Right now our priorities are hiring a production designer, a director of photography, an assistant director, and filling out a couple of key roles. Wish me luck! I need it!
But tonight, of course, Halloween!! I'm going to a party with my great pals Mikaela Hoover and Michael Rosenbaum and it will be, as usual, a lot of fun. I promise, you'll never be able to guess what my costume is: but I will share some pics with you next week. Until then, here are a few creepy, cool pics just in time for Halloween:

great pumpkin! tooth ice cream? i’d imagine the teeth would add an interesting texture to the ice cream… wonder if there are any statistics around on how many dogs were lost due to that carrier?

As much as I would love to take credit for that unbelievably awesome Humanzee! pumpkin that was the blood, sweat and talent of Holly. I did the James-O-Lantern a year prior, which is the most handsome pumpkin ever (not because of my work but because of the subject.)
YAY to the “Super” train speeding along! Best of luck with the rest of the hiring process! By process of elimination I guess you hired a costume designer and an editor. Anybody you’ve worked with before?
That Rooker/Holmes picture is surprising. Rooker has such an understated nipple, so innocent looking. I thought for sure it would have been a hairy, callous looking thing.

Jesus, you guys are weird. Looks like Rooker was really into it.
I’ve been fighting off a virus so I only have energy for Halloween movie watching. I’m planning on 1) The Strangers, and 2) The Last House on the Left remake (Craven’s horror work has not been that great for me in recent years, but I read good reviews of this, so we’ll see).
