11 Video Games I Have No Interest in Playing

I love video games.  My favorites of all time include, on the PC, STRONGHOLD and CIVILIZATION II, and on XBOX, KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC and the SPLINTER CELL and HITMAN series. I was inspired by the Spike.com article on Shamelessly Sexual Videogames, and decided to put together a list of few video games I have absolutely no interest in ever playing:

11) Divine Divinity

10) Chemist Tycoon

9) 50 Cent: Bulletproof

8) Touch Dic

7) Yo Noid!

6) Bible Adventures

5) Battle Raper II

4) Shaq Fu

3) Little Britain

2) Paperboy

1) Super Columbine Massacre RPG

And, from Spike, here is the quite silly trailer for the new video game BONE TOWN (NSFW):

AND

You can still watch PG PORN: HELPFUL BUS HERE.

I had to look up number one because I honestly didn’t believe it was real.

What the fuck, I can’t even post an imageshack link. Oh, well, I found the screen cap pretty funny for it.

    Third time’s the charm.

  • Bill Pardys Doppelganger

OK, my first post apparently didn’t go through so here’s the screen cap again.

Ah, shit I must have used the wrong link, here’s the screen cap from the game.

Battle Raper II? Seriously–there was a first? What the fuck?

I loved playing Paperboy on the ol C64 when I was younger, and obviously a lot of other people were into it too. But, this isn’t the “Video games Sarah used to play and love on the C64″ blog! I did giggle when I saw it on the list though. A game about delivering papers in a shitty neighbourhood wouldn’t exactly be a best seller these days.

    Have you seen/played Tooth Invaders?

I think I loved that game more than Paperboy. But again, who would want to play a game about brushing and flossing?

    a) I’ve obviously made a mistake about Paperboy, as I’ve gotten LOTS of angry messages on Twitter and Facebook about it. I personally don’t hold the fantasy of being a Paperboy, but obviously it has something going for it. If I repost this blog, I will remove Paperboy.
    b) Ame – Civ IV didn’t do it for me like Civ II. I may just not be as interested in those strategy games as I was back in the height of the PC game era, before XBOX took over. Now I think I’d rather hide in shadows and slit people’s throats (also, I’d like to play more video games).
    c) Lefreke – Yes, Battle Raper 1 just seemed somehow classier. Though I was bummed to just discover there is no actual raping in either of the actual Battle Raping games.

Are we to believe that you were interested in Battle Raper, but lost interest when it came to Battle Raper II?

I forgot to add: The ‘Little Britain’ game was set on the “Index for blablabla” in Germany! Just in case you wonder why you’ve never heard that the US got something like that.

More love for Paperboy here, that was a really fun game. I remember playing it a lot on my old Amstrad CPC 464 (remember cassettes?) in the 80s.

  • ThatGermanGuy

Come on, Paperboy is fun! But jeez, I just had a total 90′s Flashback when I saw Shaq Fu! I never played it, but I remember the print ads for it.
If I remember right, the Little Britain game has been put on the “Index For Media Harmful To Young Persons”*, because of “Discriminating and hateful gay jokes” or something like that.

*That means it’s not allowed to be sold to people und the age of 18 AND it’s not allowed to be sold in public stores. You can get it only in places where minors are not allowed to be.

Ok, but what about Civ IV? It’s better (in my opinion).
Also, I have a question stemming from a post your wrote a long time ago, but what the fuck is an eye bubble??

Don’t knock Paperboy until you’ve tried it.

Hey, man, remember that game called Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards? Where you’re some lounge lizard a la Larry Dallas where you go around picking up chicks and if you don’t score a condom you could die?

    What game, BPD?

  • Bill Pardys Doppelganger

Would you want to play this game? (though I’m not entirely sure what it is called)

  • Flounder

I remember Bible Adventures, my super religious aunt gave it to me for Christmas. I use to just go around knocking out animals in the Noah’s Ark Game, or throwing baby Moses around in the Baby Moses game.

Whateva, I love Paperboy! I used to play that all the time on my Sega Game Gear.

And I was very surprised that I didnt see Dance Dance Revolution on the list, I was afraid I was going to have to be embarrassed about owning my DDR skills!

  • Turbo

You probably don’t want to play 50 Cent Blood on the Sand.

  • spyflyer

Even scarier is that I owned Bible Adventures for the NES as a kid. I think I still have it somewhere, which is even scarier than scarier. Moses fighting evil animals FTW!

the fact that some of those even exist makes me want to cry a little.
